Repair and car operation

Before engine start-up

1. Examine a platform near the car.

2. Take a place, adjust the provision of a seat, a head restraint and a wheel tilt angle.

3. Adjust the provision of rear-view mirrors.

4. Close all doors.

5. Be fastened by a belt.

Engine start-up

Before inclusion of a starter put the car on the hand brake, switch off everything unnecessary consumers and lighting devices.

On cars from a manual transmission

Press a coupling pedal to a floor and put a check point control lever in neutral situation. Hold a pedal pressed before engine start.

On cars with automatic transmission

Transfer the selector lever to R.Esli's position it is necessary to start the decayed engine during movement transfer the lever to situation N. If the lever is in any situation corresponding to movement, the safety device will prevent starter inclusion.

Only on cars with automatic transmission

Press a brake pedal to the full and hold prior to the beginning of movement.

Start-up of the warm engine

Press a butterfly valve pedal approximately on a half of a course and include a starter, having turned the ignition key in the situation START. Release a key after and a butterfly valve pedal after engine start.

Start-up of the hot engine

Press a butterfly valve pedal to the full and include a starter, having turned the ignition key in the situation START. Release a key after and a butterfly valve pedal after engine start. A pedal not to press any more.

Start-up of the decayed engine

Repeat described above action depending on engine temperature.

Period of operation of a starter at start should not exceed 15 seconds. Otherwise the starter and cables overheat.

If the engine often глохнет or is badly started, immediately check an engine condition.

To warm up the engine only at a trip, but not idling. Move with moderate speed until then while the temperature of cooling liquid will not raise to an operating level.

Start under normal conditions

Cars are equipped with multichannel system of direct injection of fuel (or consecutive injection) which automatically prepares a mix necessary for start-up of the engine. Irrespective of a thermal condition the engine is started as follows:

1. Clean a foot from a pedal of a butterfly valve and include a starter, having turned the ignition key in the situation START. Release a key after engine start.

2. Let's get warm to the engine during 10 seconds then the car is ready to movement.

In frosty conditions let's work to the engine within several minutes then the car is ready to movement.

Car check before a trip

Before a trip it is recommended to examine the car. Having spent some minutes, you will provide a safe and pleasant trip. Here only thorough acquaintance to own car and attentiveness is required.

Before engine start-up

Check outside

Tires. Check pressure, and existence of external damages (cuts, wear, etc.).

Nuts of wheels. Be convinced available all nuts, reliability of their inhaling.

Existence of podtekaniye. After long parking check existence of podtekaniye of oil, fuel, liquids (emergence of drops of moisture after using the conditioner is allowed).

Light devices. Be convinced of serviceability of headlights, indexes of turn and other devices. Check correctness of adjustment of headlights.

Check inside

Check pressure in a spare wheel, be convinced available a jack and a key for nuts of wheels.

Check a condition of seat belts, durability of fastening of buckles.

Be convinced of serviceability of all light indexes signaling about malfunction of various systems, illuminations of a scale of devices and a glass heater.

Check adjustment of a pedal of a brake.

Check existence of spare safety locks. The safety locks calculated on all currents which values are specified on a cover of the assembly block should enter into a set.

Check in a motor compartment

Check level of cooling liquid.

Check electrolit level in battery sections. Check a condition of the case of the battery and power cables, reliability of fastening of cables.

Check a conducting condition.

Check a condition of fuel hoses and tubes.

After engine start-up

Listening to operation of the engine define a condition of an exhaust system. At detection of leaks immediately eliminate.

Stop the engine and check oil level.

Check at movement

Check serviceability of a speedometer and other devices.

In a safe place check work of brakes and uniformity of braking.

Listen and define the noise testifying to abnormal operation of units of the car.
