Repair and car operation

Threefold (oxidation-reduction) catalytic converter is the device for decrease in toxicity of exhaust gases and is established in an exhaust system.

Finding of people or combustible materials near an exhaust pipe on the working engine is not allowed. Exhaust gases have very high temperature.

Movement of the car or operation of the engine idling near inflammable materials, for example a grass, leaves, paper or rags is not allowed.

There is a possibility of an overheat of converter and creation of a fire-dangerous situation. Therefore observe the following rules.

Fill the car with only unleaded gasoline.

Driving with very low level of fuel in a tank is not allowed. At production of fuel interruptions in operation of cylinders of the engine and increase of load of converter are possible.

Operation of the engine idling is forbidden more than 20 minutes.

Avoid modes when the engine works racing.

Engine start-up by towage or car pushing is forbidden.

Engine start-up at car movement is forbidden.

Support the engine in good repair. Refusal of electric equipment of the engine, systems of ignition or fuel system involves a converter overheat.
