1.1.33. Pressure check in tires

GENERAL INFORMATION

Pressure in tires (including a spare wheel) is checked 1 time in 2 weeks, but is not more rare than 1 time a month.

At low pressure in tires controllability the car, profitability worsens, and also the probability of a rupture of the tire because of an overheat increases. Besides, at the lowered pressure consolidation of a board of the tire worsens. At big pressure drop deformation of a wheel and (or) tire stratification is possible.

At too high pressure amortization decreases, controllability worsens, wear in the central part of a protector amplifies, danger of a rupture of a tire increases when driving on the bumpy road.

Observe the following rules:

      – check pressure only in cold tires, not less than 3 hours later after a trip, or after a trip on distance no more than 1,5 km;
      – it is not allowed to determine pressure by appearance of the tire, measure pressure by a manometer. Driving and comfort of a trip worsen even at pressure change only on some tenth shares of the atmosphere;
    – it is forbidden to reduce pressure in tires after a trip.
