Gear shifting scheme
At inclusion of transfer press a coupling pedal, then smoothly release. It is not allowed to hold a foot on a coupling pedal during movement, violation of normal work of coupling otherwise is possible. Is also inadmissible to put the car on transfer to hold on lifting, for this purpose use the hand brake.
Too early switching on an overgear and too late switching on the lowered leads to an overload of the engine and emergence of knocks. Frequent gear shifting on maximum permissible speeds of movement is at the bottom of the accelerated wear of the engine and the increased fuel consumption.
Councils on driving
If backing inclusion from neutral position of the lever inconveniently, for an instant release a pedal of coupling and repeat inclusion
Do not include the 5th transfer when towing trailer to avoid increase in a brake way of the car against norm.
System of blocking of interaxal differential (for cars with a drive on all wheels)
The system of blocking of interaxal differential is intended for increase of traction qualities of the car in the following situations.
If lobbies or back wheels come off a paving, or adjoin to a slippery covering.
One of four wheels comes off a paving, or adjoins to a slippery covering.
At non-uniform wear of lobbies or back wheels smoothness of blocking or unblocking of interaxal differential can be broken.
Before blocking of differential be convinced that wheels do not revolve.
Unblock differential right after using blocking.
In those cases when the control lamp on the dashboard does not light up, or dies away only if after repeated pressing of the button of blocking of differential the car passes small distance, address in car-care center service for check of an electric chain and the blocking mechanism.
Under normal conditions movements it is necessary to unblock interaxal differential as when blocking semi-axes passing of turns is at a loss.
For differential blocking:
1. Press a pedal of a brake and stop rotation of wheels.
2. Put forward wheels as it is possible closer to the provision of driving on a straight line.
3. Press the button of blocking of interaxal differential. On the dashboard the control lamp should light up.
When blocking differential the control lamp continues to burn.
In certain cases the lamp does not light up at the moment of button pressing.
To unblock differential:
1. Turn forward wheels as it is possible closer to the provision of driving on a straight line.
2. Repeatedly press the button of blocking of interaxal differential. The control lamp on the dashboard should go out. If the lamp does not die away, let's to the car pass a little on small speed.
