1. Remove a cover at the basis of the hand brake and unscrew an adjusting nut of a cable (nuts of the left and right cables are noted) which also fixes a cable to the lever of the hand brake. There are two cables – on one on each back wheel, and a nut for each cable. On some cars for access to nuts it is necessary to remove the central section (tray). |
| 2. Lift a back part of the car and establish on supports. |
| 3. Remove a brake drum, or a brake disk. |
| 4. On cars equipped with back drum-type brakes, disconnect a cable of the hand brake from the lever of a back block. On cars with back disk brakes remove brake shoes and a drive of blocks (see subsection 10.4), then disconnect a cable of the hand brake from a drive. |

| 5. To disconnect a cable from a drive on back дисковы brakes submit on itself external эксентрик and remove a pin which the cable to the internal clown fixes, remove internal эксентрик. |
| 6. On cars equipped with back drum-type brakes, take a cable, its cover from a reverse side of a board of a brake, then get a cable cover from brackets on the suspension bracket lever (to straighten it and to facilitate drawing of a new cable). On cars with back disk brakes it is not obligatory to take a cable cover from a brake board, it is enough to get of it from brackets on the lever of a back suspension bracket. |

7. Extend a cable from a cover from a wheel. |
| 8. Grease a new cable with konsistentny greasing and enter it into a cover. Stretch a cable through a cover to the lever of a drive of a block. |
| 9. Establish a cover in a brake board, and attach a cable tip to the lever of a drive of a block (back drum-type brakes) or to the ekstsentrikovy sliding device (back disk brakes). Be convinced after accession on a cable there are no bent sites. |
| 10. Fix a cable cover in brackets on the lever of a back suspension bracket. |
| 11. On cars equipped with back drum-type brakes, establish brake shoes and a drum. On cars with back disk brakes establish blocks of the hand brake and the ekstsentrikovy sliding device of blocks, and also a back disk of a brake. |
| 12. Lower the car and wrap an adjusting nut on a tip of a cable of the hand brake. Adjust a cable of the hand brake and establish a dustproof cover. |
