9.19. Reducer of a back axis

Removal and installation

1. Lift the car, merge oil from a reducer.
2. Disconnect the driveshaft from a reducer flange. Fix a shaft, without allowing sagging on the support bearing.
3. Get from a semi-axis reducer, take aside and fix.
4. Disconnect from the pulse sensor of a speedometer the socket (a photo at the left), unscrew 2 bolts and take the sensor (a photo on the right).
5. Substitute under a reducer the cart with a jack.
6. Unscrew a bolt of back fastening of a reducer.
7. Unscrew bolts of forward fastening of a reducer.
8. Unscrew a nut and a bolt of an axis of the elastic hinge of a reducer.
9. Lower a reducer and get from under the car.
10. Installation is carried out upside-down. Bolts and nuts of fastening of a reducer at first acquire, then evenly tighten.
