The electrofan has 2 speeds of rotation and respectively joins from 2 thermoswitches which are screwed in a radiator and work at different temperatures. On a part of cars 1 double thermoswitch can be established.
Prevention
At works keep in mind that probably samproizvolny turning on of the auxiliary fan at thermoswitch operation, even at the switched-off ignition.

| 1. Disconnect from the fan the conducting socket, having raised a latch uvula. |
| 2. Check the electric motor for what connect it directly to the battery. Check freedom of rotation of a krylchatka, having convinced that the engine cooled down. |
| 3. For check of thermoswitches перемкните their conclusions on the disconnected socket. The fan should rotate with high or low speed, depending on that what chain is closed by the checked sensor. On a part of cars it is necessary to include ignition. |
| 4. If power-supply circuits as it should be, but are observed interruptions in operation of the fan, thermoswitches replace, having merged liquid. If thermoswitches are serviceable, but the fan does not work, check a safety lock, the relay and conducting. |

| 5. Disconnect the battery from weight, having accepted precautionary measures. |
| 6. On the cold engine check weakness in resistance existence to rotation of a krylchatka. |
| 7. At detection of podtekaniye the coupling replace. |
| 8. Resistance to rotation of a krylchatka should increase considerably on the heated-up engine (disconnect the battery from weight). Otherwise the coupling replace. |

Removal and installation

| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Remove a forward lattice (see subsection 12.7). |
| 3. Remove a fan arm, a radiator, unscrew bolts of fastening of the condenser of the conditioner (from the highway not to disconnect) and submit the condenser forward. |
| 4. Disconnect the socket and remove the fan. |
| 5. Assembly is carried out upside-down. |

| 6. Disconnect the battery from weight and remove a fan casing. |
|
|
| 7. Unscrew a nut (with the left carving!) hydrocoupling fastenings by a rozhkovy key on 32. For a nut otvorachivaniye sharply strike on a key And a hammer via the extension piece B. |
|
8. Get the coupling, a krylchatka and a casing. If necessary remove a pulley from the roller of the pump of cooling liquid, having unscrewed 4 bolts. |
| 9. Check a condition of a krylchatka, if necessary replace, having unscrewed bolts and having removed it from the coupling. The coupling should be stored down the party turned to a radiator. |

10. Assembly is carried out upside-down. |
