GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At a battery detachment from weight be convinced that to you the code of a raskodirovka of a radio tape recorder is known. Disconnect at first a weight wire, then a wire of a positive pole.

Corrosion of a pole of the battery

Cars are completed served or unattended (late models) with batteries. Served batteries are supplied with jams for a dolivaniye of the distilled water.

Care of the battery is reduced to check of a condition of the case of the battery, poles and plugs, existence of podtekaniye of electrolit and corrosion on adjacent metal details, to periodic check of tension and additional charge.

The places struck with corrosion should be washed out solution of soda and to paint zinc soil. Plugs and poles should be cleared to shine.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the plug from a polar tip of the battery (the mass wire at first acts in film, it joins in the last turn).
2. Clear a battery pole.
3. When cleaning the plug it is necessary to remove corrosion completely.

Charging

For additional charge the battery should be removed from the car.

To charge the battery it is recommended by a current no more than 2 And until then while tension or density of electrolit will not cease to change within 2 hours. The served battery to charge being guided by the instruction on the case (if instructions are not present, address in car-care center).

On a part of batteries there are built-in areometers of chromatic type. The electrolit density in such battery is determined by the color chart enclosed by the manufacturer (dark coloring of the indicator usually indicates the full category of the battery). On completely charged battery tension should be 12,6 Century.
