| The sensor of system of pneumosafety is located in a motor compartment. |
Late models are equipped with pneumosafety system (SRS system) which is intended for protection of the driver in case of collision.
The structure of system includes the packed pillow mounted in the form of the module in the center of a steering wheel, 2 sensors of shock loading strengthened on forward mudguards in a motor compartment and the safety sensor which is in salon. The device of forcing is under a pillow and is connected to it an opening through which it is injected gas at receipt of an electric signal. The signal moves on a cable winded in a flexible spiral round a shaft of a wheel. 2 sensors at blow with the set force close a chain. Operation of the device of gas evolution occurs only at short circuit of contacts of the safety sensor on which signals from 2 sensors of shock loading arrive. The block which contains the safety sensor, provides check of a condition of system of pneumosafety. The control lamp of system (AIRBAG lamp) at first lights up and at serviceable system dies away. If the system is faulty, the lamp continues to burn or blink. In this case it is necessary to hand over the car immediately in car-care center for check.
